Each team member receives a premiers polo shirt, kindly supported by Worklocker Echuca and Provide Technology. We’d like to congratulate the following players: TIM DAINTON (Fill in for MEL CLARK), LACHLAN MELTON, ANDREW RUSSELL, MICHAEL ARMSTRONG, BRAE RUSSELL-MACKENZIE, and KATE TAYOR.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the players for supporting our competition and association. Without the players, competitions like these are not possible. I’d like to thank everyone that continues to show up each week, on time and ready to enjoy their games. It makes formalising the teams for the evening much easier for everyone.
2021 Senior Winter Competition Premiers:
2021 was an interesting year again, for obvious reasons that I’m not going to mention again. However, we were able to complete a Senior Winter competition and we should recognise the team that was victorious during this season. I’d like to congratulate the premiers for 2021 – Strathy. Each team member receives a premiers polo shirt, kindly supported by Worklocker Echuca and Provide Technology. We’d like to congratulate the following players: Roger, Pauline, Kate C, Kate T, and Kerry.
Summer competition 2022:
Just a reminder for everyone that the summer competition will begin after the school holiday break on 4 October. Everyone is welcome, including Juniors to join us for this competition. Entries for this competition close on 20 September, next Tuesday, so please get your entry in as soon as possible. We would prefer everyone to complete the online entry at tinyurl.com/sbacomprego. However, please let us know if you would prefer a paper-based entry forum. These can be emailed to shepbaddy@gmail.com.
Committee Acknowledgement:
I’d like to acknowledge our fantastic 2022 Committee: Vice President: Michael Armstrong, Secretary: Kumar Santhakumar, Treasurer: John Pettigrew, and General Committee Members: Damien Drake, Andrew Russell, Hieu Thuan Ly, and Peter Fisher. I would like to thank all our committee members for their hard work and support of the association. Without the hard work of these dedicated individuals, this association would not be what it is today. Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
New Committee members:
We’re actively seeking new committee members. Please feel free to let us know if you, or anyone you know, would be interested in joining the committee. Organisations such as this require a minimum number of committee members to operate. We would really appreciate anyone stepping up and helping us out, as many of the committee members have been in their positions for many years and looking for a change.
Looking forward to seeing everyone playing after the school holidays, in a few weeks for the 2022 summer competition on 4 October, or for those that are not playing in the summer competition, the winter competition in 2023. Thank you all again for supporting our association.
